IA

IA is the national charity supporting people living with an ileostomy or internal pouch, their families, friends and carers. Our volunteers are themselves living with an ileostomy or an internal pouch so have that unique, lived experience from which to support others who are facing, or have had, surgery.

IA’s ‘One2One’ support model offers a dedicated team of volunteers, trained to listen and provide peer-to-peer support to anyone considering or already through surgery including friends and family. We offer a listening ear, empathy and lifestyle guidance to support and help a person to rehabilitate and return to the lifestyle that they enjoy.

Colostomy UK is a charity that supports and empowers people living with all types of stomas.
We’re here if you have questions, need support or just want to talk to someone who lives with a stoma.

Kingston Trust CIO

The Kingston Trust CIO’s aim is to provide financial assistance, through the provision of grants, to those in need.  To qualify, applicants must be aged 16 years or over, have undergone surgical intervention as a result of Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s, Cancer, inflammation, injury or any other condition resulting in an ileostomy or ileo-anal pouch procedure. Applicants must be a resident of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland for at least 6 months.  The Kingston Trust CIO Trustees will consider all qualifying grant applications.
